MAKING UNLEAVENED BREAD
I have made a simple recipe tutorial on how to make Unleavened Bread with herbs for the celebration of Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread for the Hebrew Israelites. This recipe is quite special since I added olive oil and some herbs such as Rosemary and Basil. I have prepared a video and a written recipe to help you make it. Enjoy cooking with us!
UNLEAVENED BREAD
WRITTEN RECIPE:
Serves 4-6 persons
Cooking time: 45 min

LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
½ kg All purpose flour
2 tbsp Olive Oil
½ tbsp Sea Salt
Rosemary
Basil Leaves
½ cup Hot water
½ cup Cold water
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Making the dough:
Knead the dough by putting ½ kg All purpose flour in a mixing bowl;
Add ½ tbsp Sea salt;
2 tbsp Olive Oil;
Add ½ cup Hot water;
Prepare cold water and occasionally add while making the dough;
Add herbs (rosemary and basil);
Let the dough sit for a while;
Roll dough into a flat loaf and place on the prepared plate;
Using the rolling pin, for the dough into thin sheets or loaf;
Cooking the unleavened bread:
Pre-heat the frying pan into medium heat;
Add a thin layer of Olive oil;
Cook the unleavened bread sheets (loaves) until golden brown;
Flip the unleavened bread from time to time until desired consistency is achieved;
Put the cooked unleavened bread into a serving plate;
Repeat process until all the loaves are finished.
Serve the unleavened bread with any dish that match.
