MY KIND OF SMOOTHIE
The single biggest habit that improved my health was drinking green smoothie regularly, if not every day. From the day I started drinking green smoothie, I changed from feeling fatigued to energetic in a matter of days. That is why I would love to share my best green smoothie recipe which you can follow along with every step on how to create a smoothie that's yummy, simple and healthful.
Now, not every smoothie is made equally. Some contain sweets, dairy, and artificial substances that provide a candy-like flavor (and do more harm than good). Others need you to choke them down since they are combined with so many weird super foods. However, you don't have to be concerned about any of those extremes. And so, I made a sincere effort to develop the greatest smoothie recipes with natural fruit and veggies that are delicious, nutrient-dense, and love at first drink. In this recipe, I used apple as the sweetener to blend along with the bitter taste of green vegetables, especially the broccoli, which is the star ingredient in this recipe.

Our responsibility is to support everyone’s health after all! Sulforaphane glucosinolate (SGS), which are anti-cancer substances, are present in broccoli. SGS is a natural substance extracted from the seeds and sprouts of select broccoli varietals. It is an indirect antioxidant that provides long-lasting cell protection from free radical damage. In essence, they prevent the cancer from developing colonies, which then develop into tumors. Since the vegetable has so much nourishment, it is sometimes referred to as a Superfood.
It has a ton of fiber and vitamins, such as Vitamin C (one half cup contains about 84% of the daily recommended amount, which is more than half an orange!). Also, this vitamin works hard to shield you from free radicals, which are unstable, cancer-causing atoms that harm your cells.

GREEN SMOOTHIE
WRITTEN RECIPE:
Serves 2 to 3 persons
Prep. time: 5 min

LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
3 stalks – Spinach
5 flowery head – Broccoli
1 stalk – Celery
1 pc – Cucumber
½ pc –Red Apple
2 cups – Water or as needed
PREPARATION INSTRUCTION:
1ST STEP – CUTTING/SLICING ALL VEGES AND FRUIT:
Slice or chop all the vegetables and fruit into small pieces to fit in the blending machine;
Soak them all in water;
2ND STEP – BLENDING:
Put first the cucumber, apple and water into the blender and blend;
Next, put the broccoli and blend;
Next is the spinach;
Add more water if needed;
Lastly, add the celery for final blending;
Blend until the desired smoothness is achieved to form a smoothie;
Serve in a tall glass or cup.
