One of Japan's best rivers has been named Mitake Ravine. The scenic Mitake Ravine was chosen as one of Japan's 100 exquisite and well-preserved waterways. When the water is beautiful, and the weather is fine, day trippers from Tokyo enjoy family picnics by the River.
HOW TO GET THERE
You may see Japan's incredibly diverse natural beauty in Mitake Ravine, which is about 90 minutes by train from Central Tokyo and situated in West Tokyo in the upper reaches of the Tama River.
