DISCOVER MITAKE RAVINE TOKYO, RAGING WATERS

One of Japan's best rivers has been named Mitake Ravine. The scenic Mitake Ravine was chosen as one of Japan's 100 exquisite and well-preserved waterways. When the water is beautiful, and the weather is fine, day trippers from Tokyo enjoy family picnics by the River.





HOW TO GET THERE

You may see Japan's incredibly diverse natural beauty in Mitake Ravine, which is about 90 minutes by train from Central Tokyo and situated in West Tokyo in the upper reaches of the Tama River. The fact that you are still in Tokyo is the nicest aspect of it. Mitake Station is the nearest station. You may travel via Mitake Valley to get to the river.


ACTIVITIES


1. OLYMPIC SPOT FOR PADDLING TEAMS

For a location so near to metropolitan Tokyo, the bedrock canyon and the huge rocks are exceptionally stunning and picturesque. Many of the most skilled paddlers in Japan regularly train on a certain section of the river. A number of local university paddling groups call this place home, and slalom competitions take place here. Additionally, the area is well-liked for slalom training and teaching, where you may get credentials up to the Olympic level; and



2. RAFTING

Mitake Ravine is a fantastic location for exciting sports like rafting. This is the place for you if you enjoy challenge and adventure. The water clarity of this river is renowned.
